Claudia Thiriot runs the hotel together with her husband Philippe. Claudia took over the hotel from her parents, the third generation to do so, who had lovingly managed and maintained it for many years. This meant that new things could be introduced while old things were preserved.
Start and end the day
Your day begins with crusty bread from the local bakery, tangy cheese from the alpine summer, homemade jam and everything you need to sweeten your morning. And if you're in the mood for good company after a day of hiking or skiing in the mountains, round off your day in the stylish lounge by the fireplace.
Come to rest
Escape from everyday life in the sauna area. You can boost your circulation in the Finnish sauna at 90 degrees or relax tired muscles in the 60-degree sanarium.

An eventful history
Our house has been on a journey through time with many glorious moments. It was built around 1850, but we can no longer say for sure. But what we do know for sure: The doors have always been open to guests. This has never changed - we have preserved the treasure of the past and carefully polished up old values.
Before 1846
the house is built in Nasserein, today's St. Anton am Arlberg.
1846
Mayor, community leader and fire department commander Johann Jakob Murr takes over the inn and runs it for over 70 years. With 16 rooms, 28 beds, a garden, veranda and bowling alley, the facilities were impressive for the time.
1929
the house is the venue for the ceremonial renaming of the municipality from Nasserein to St. Anton am Arlberg.
The 1960s
Ring in a new era: Otto Ennemoser acquires the house from the Murr family. He continues to run it and the bar in the cellar becomes the village meeting place until the end of the 1960s.
1974/75
Brigitte and Hansjörg Ennemoser take over the hotel and renovate it with kid gloves. The original character is retained.
2019
Daughter Claudia takes over the business with her husband Philippe Thiriot and continues to run the Hotel Goldenes Kreuz in the third generation.
